d'Story Club's curriculum is specially designed for children aged 18 to 30 months to expose them to the world of print through outstanding early childhood literature such as:

Dinosaurs Roar, The Hungry Caterpillar, The Rainbow Fish, The Three Bears, Guess How Much I love You?, Are you my Mother?, Sam's Farm, From Head to Toe, Over in the Meadow, etc. A parent or caregiver is encouraged to accompany the child for a critical time of shared learning.

Our activities include:

The programme is also an ideal transition to Playgroup.

With a parent or a caregiver around, the children can explore the new environment without fear or insecurity. Once the children get comfortable, they will be able to ease themselves into attending daily Playgroup classes.

So grab your child's favourite pal and sign up immediately!

Warm Up To School

When I first sent Caitlin to d’Story Club, my intention was to expose her to the concept of school and how fun it was. Nevertheless, I was rather apprehensive as to how she would take to her teachers, the place and her new friends. Of course, my fears soon proved unfounded and she took to it like a duck to water.

The activities and the interaction with other children have helped build up Caitlin’s confidence and the special bond we share has also been strengthened. For myself, having the support and the encouragement of the other mothers in the group has helped me to be a wiser mother to Caitlin.

I am thankful that PAT’S Schoolhouse has played no small part in helping us come this long way. For Caitlin and I, PAT’S Schoolhouse has served as a warm introduction to what school really is, and should be.

First Hand Experience

Being an only child, d’Story Club gave my son, Timothy, the opportunity to be with other kids his age, and to start making friends. It was his first hand experience singing, dancing, listening to stories in a group environment and he looked forward to going since it was fun.

As I could be with him, he also did not need to give up the comfort of having mum with him at the tender age of two and a half. This helped build up his confidence in going to ‘school’. As he had become familiar with the environment and the teachers, it was easier for him when he moved on to Playgroup.
