In April 1988, I designed a single building block to signify the first brick for Pat’s Schoolhouse. That ‘brick’ has gone a long way to lay a strong foundation for the solid reputation that we hold as a top-notch early childhood leader in Singapore.
Today we have become an icon and our logo spells it all!
The centre of our logo is a child reaching out for ‘the’ star. It is a star to signify our spark of creativity and imagination. It is the star where hopes and dreams are never out of reach.
Our child is also one who dares to be different. Our child reaches out with his left hand and stands on tip-toe. The child knows he can do it if he tries. He is not afraid of trying and he knows he will not fail.
He cannot fail because he has the support of PAT’S SCHOOLHOUSE giving him a big future, thus “Little Minds, Big Future”.
Our creative and colourful logo reminds us that childhood is a time for celebration. We celebrate curiosity, creativity, confidence and continuity.
Red is used to describe vibrancy in everything that we do especially in our creative efforts to bring meaning to everything the child does at Pat’s Schoolhouse.
Gold celebrates success and confidence. We celebrate the joy of helping a child get to where he wants to and where he needs to.
Blue holds everything together for it signifies loyalty and ‘stickability’. Even as a child is curious about his world and what lies on the other side, he must remain loyal and truthful to himself first and then to others he loves.
Green is always pleasant to the eye. It is the most important part of the process of learning. It signifies growth and continuity in all that the child does now and all that he does after he leaves us and pursues new heights.
